Hello to all friends and family of Life Community Church.  I hope and pray that your week has been blessed.  The last two weeks I have been talking about LifeX2.  LifeX2 is an intentional commitment made by the partners of our church to bring growth by bringing another family into the life of our church.   Last Sunday I handed out LifeX2 commitment cards and I asked those present to pray about making this commitment.  We will begin taking these commitments this Sunday and we will signify these commitments with a Life tree.  On this tree we will hang a yellow commitment tag with the name of the family who makes this commitment when the new family begins attending regularly we will hang an orange tag on the tree to represent this family.  A majority of people who begin attending church do so at the invitation of a friend, family member, co-worker or neighbor.  I do not care about us ever becoming a huge church but what I do care about is heaven becoming fuller and hell emptier from our efforts.  Please pray about you and your family making this commitment.  Let’s grow God’s kingdom.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast-tomorrow morning at 8:30am.  We will have a wonderful breakfast and a time of praying for one another.  Tomorrow morning we will also talk about upcoming workdays at the church and different activities for our R.A. Boys and Life Girls on Wednesday evenings.  Our Life Girls are in need of some additional ladies to assist Martha Bailey, if you are interested please see Mrs. Martha. 

This coming Sunday evening is our first Ministry Vision Fellowship at 5:30.  I will share with you the inside story of what is going on in our church.  Afterwards we will retire to the education building for some food and fellowship.  Please bring some food, enough for your family and some to share with others.  See you there.

If you want to go from being a regular attendee at church to becoming a church partner then I encourage you to sign up for our next New Partners Class.  It will be on Jan 28, a week from this Sunday, at 5pm.  It will last approximately 2 hours.  We will host this class in the Education Building.  

In closing please keep in prayer our Kids Beach Club that will resume on Monday, January 30.  This has been a tremendous ministry and I know it has changed the eternal destiny of a number of these children.  We need some additional adults to help us with supervision and other activities associated with our Beach Club, if you can help please see me or Jennifer West.   I look forward to seeing all of you this coming Sunday as we come together to lift our praise to our Heavenly Father.
